How Do I... Make An Appointment?
An Appointment Can Be Booked (Up to Two Weeks in Advance) By:
• Telephoning the surgery on 0844 576 9040
• Calling into the surgery
Routine appointments are normally booked at 10-minute intervals.
Please remember that you are registered with the practice, not an individual doctor. You will be seen within 48 hours by a doctor or 24 hours by a healthcare professional.
Please note that if you specify a particular doctor these waiting times will not apply.
You may request a telephone consultation. You will be booked a time when the doctor will call you.
How Do I... Obtain Telephone Advice
You Can:
1) Call the telephone helpline NHS Direct on 0845 4647.
2) Ask your local pharmacist.
These services will help you treat yourself at home for common ailments like colds, coughs and sore throats.
How Do I... Obtain A Home Visit?
These must be reserved for patients too ill or infirm to attend surgery. If you need a doctor to call, please contact the surgery
before 10.30am. The receptionist will ask for information so that the doctors may plan their visits, making the most urgent calls first. The doctor may ask you to come to the surgery. Home visits are not only time
consuming but we have better facilities at the surgery for examining and treating you.
